My students need Tree of Life and storage, science books, various biome card material, high quality colored pencils, and other storage/cabinets for materials.
My students come from diverse backgrounds - culturally, racially, and socio-economically, but they are all a curious bunch and all share an equal love for discovery. Watching our community come together and work collaboratively and put all differences aside is a heart warming sight that lends hope for our future.
The love of learning is palpable in our classroom community!
With the help of all of the amazing materials we have been so fortunate to receive through DonorsChoose donations, my students have flourished and almost beg to work with materials we have received.
My Project
I envision our students working with the Tree of Life, biome materials for all of the continents, colored pencils to help them communicate what they are learning in a colorful and meaningful way, and other science materials and books that lend themselves to environmental science through biome research of the continents, all the while immersing themselves in the world of science and nature.
Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.
These materials, with your help, will draw our children into the study, wonderment, and love of science and discovery. The purpose of these materials is to spark interest to further research through hands on learning and inspire a love of our environment and therefore creating sentient beings that are better able to problem solve for the future of our world community.
