Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are looking forward to some spring and summer projects that will bring nature into the classroom. We are wanting to grow flowers from seeds and decorate flower pots for families in our community. This is a nice way we can see science in action and donate back to our community. I also would love to make ice cream from scratch so we can use natural products to create a delicious treat. This will be a very fun way to finish the end of 5th grade! Please help us add some fun and science into our classroom.
