My students need to enhance the classroom windows that view our Bird Sanctuary and Wildlife Garden by having wildlife at the windows such as plants and fish tanks.
I am fortunate to have 23 amazing 4th-grade students who are passionate about learning!
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.
They are mini-inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career.
My students love the Wildlife Garden right outside our classroom window. This new project will add to our window. Nature comes to our window every day!
My Project
From bird houses with "Bird Feeding Stations" to "Betta Hydroponic Growing System" and "Aquaponic Betta Fish Tank," these items will help bring "Nature To Our Classroom Window."
The "Back to the Roots Water Garden Betta Fish Tank and Hydroponics Growing System will not only allow my students to see a live fish in the tank, but they will watch fresh herbs sprout and grow.
My students will be able to take home fresh herbs to share with their family!
Now we are going to bring the science that is outside our classroom window (Bird Sanctuary) to science inside our classroom by having live plants growing in the fish tank with Betta fish.
My students will track the variety of birds that come eat bird seed on the outside of our classroom windows, so tracking the variety of plants, as well as the activity of the fish in the aqua pod fish tank. Science at its best when live in the classroom.
