Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Students deserve a calm, fun learning environment. The materials in this project will allow students access to both. Lamps and string lights will help create a safe and calming atmosphere for the entire classroom family to do their best learning. By plugging these items into remote control plugins, student helpers can be in control and have responsibility in the classroom.

Including nature and environmental elements into the classroom will help promote well rounded students.

Students will continue to utilize our classroom hydroponics system, practice recycling in our maker space , and explore nature literature materials in science and library centers. This will provide a mixture of hands on, science, and reading in the classroom in order to keep students fully intrigued and in love with learning.

Mrs. Swartz will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 14.
