Native Stories Throughout the Library!

Help me give my students books on Native Americans in many different genres.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Wiltse's classroom raised $652

This project is fully funded

My Project

My students need to learn about Native Americans living now and in the past. We know that one of the best ways to build empathy for others is through reading.

Right now, there are less than 20 books in our library that focus on Native Americans.

This newly reopened library needs books by Native authors, books that have Native main characters, and books about the history of our country from Native perspectives.

It's Native American Heritage month as I post this, and a good time to focus on this important need. However, the books span many fiction genres as well as nonfiction and will be enjoyed and appreciated all year long!
