Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am the advisor of our chapter of The National Junior Honor Society. Our members work all year to uphold the pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Each year seventh grade students apply to be in The National Junior Honor Society and when they are chosen, there is an Induction Ceremony held for the new inductees and run by the current eighth grade members. The current members also graduate this year and need certain items as well. These can be very costly events and with your help, we can provide these amazing scholars with everything that they need.
Our goal is to raise enough funds to have all of the necessary items that are needed for both of these very special occasions for some very deserving students!
