Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher of wonderful, diverse kindergartners. Each one of them, very talented and unique. Seeing students set goals, reaching them and succeeding after trying is an amazing thing to see.

Supporting every single young individual and positively guiding students to view themselves as prosperous learners.

Setting a strong base for the learning they will be doing for the rest of their lives. My students are very intelligent, curious, enthusiastic, talented, and hungry for knowledge, but we need your help. These additional resources will help us gain more knowledge and these materials will make our learning engaging, culturally relevant, and equitable for every student in our class.

My Project

These materials will provide social emotional visuals for my students to help them regulate their emotions and understand their feelings in order to learn what tools to use when they feel mad, angry, frustrated, or silly.

These leveled readers will provide my students access to nonfiction literature in Spanish.

Non-fiction literature is what our classroom library needs in order to get students excited about facts of their favorite animals and relevant topics.

These materials will teach my students facts while practicing their literature but at the same time, make it engaging, meaningful, and very powerful learning.
