This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Along with two colleagues, I am applying for my National Board for Professional Teacher Standards certifications. According to their website, the National Board is "the most respected professional certification available in education and provides numerous benefits to teachers, students and schools. It was designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide."
This will greatly benefit the Hurley community.
This is a great opportunity for teachers to grow professionally without leaving the classroom. This will greatly benefit the Hurley community. Mr. Gaines, Ms. P and I will support each other throughout this process in order to reflect on and improve their teaching.
