This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

They say that behind every manicurist there is a great chemical engineer. Now a days most people are choosing to go to nail bars and get gel polish. The chemical balances that go into making these products has to be known to the person doing nails. Our students will not only be doing something fun to them but they will also be learning about these chemical balances. Our high school doesn't have any clubs since it's so small and we do almost everything together. A couple of weeks ago one of our teachers decided to have a day in which students brought their nail and cosmetics from home so that we could do our nails and make up after school. This turned out to be a great success.

They all loved the nail stations.

We are asking for nail kits, organizers, and a lamp to start a nail club. This club might be something to get our students motivated to come and hang out after school and get to know the staff in a different light.
