This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school we love to incorporate PBL! Our mythological creatures combine Math, ELA, and Science. We utilize student knowledge of genetics, adaptations, and habitats in order for students to create their own animal. They will have an opportunity to select 2-3 animals and create a hybrid. In order to showcase their knowledge of their creature, students will create a poster and build a terrarium displaying a model of their animal. This is where our large need for supplies comes in! Students will present to other grade levels and display their knowledge and creativity!
