My students need these 9 Myth-o-Mania books by Kate McMullan.
What do you really know about the Greek gods? Maybe you haven't heard the whole story.... Just ask Hades.
A snapshot of our middle school shows a diverse high-need school comprised of about 1,100 students in grades six to eight.
Half of our student population receives free or reduced priced lunch. Approximately half of our students receive support services in addition to their core classes. Many of our students are not native English speakers. The students have all been impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
The books I am requesting are Greek Myths retold from another point of view. Students are being asked to explore an argument from many sides and look for supporting details. These books are a fun way to research Greek myths and practice our English test taking skills.
The children enjoy our unit study of the Greek gods.
These books will help expand our unit and excite the students. Please help my students with the donation of these great books.
