My Students

My students have a variety of abilities and talents. Each student is unique and different as they come into the classroom, ready to do their best. They all love to learn throughout the day while finding ways to have fun, too! My students come to school from different types of homes but in our classroom, we are a family on a mission to be ready, be respectful and be safe as we grow and learn! Our classroom is a very happy and positive place to be and it's an amazing place to work and learn everyday!

My Project

Imagine sitting in a reading class and starting a new mystery unit, and not having many options of books in your reading level. We are in desperate need of various levels of mystery books, especially below benchmark level books.

All of my students want to enjoy reading, but some struggle decoding while others have difficulty comprehending higher level text.

We need your help to provide all different reading level mystery books to help all my students have access to the materials they need to practice and be successful.

Our mystery unit is very engaging because students will have the opportunity to read many mystery books, look for clues and text evidence, to try to figure out the mystery. This can only be done if students have good fit books in their hands. Please help my super sleuths of all levels and abilities read, solve the mysteries, and grow!
