This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of 25 energetic and inquisitive Transitional Kindergartners. For many of them, this is their first school experience. Currently we are distance learning and we need essential materials to make this year as successful as possible. Help these terrific students fall in love with school.

My Project

I'm requesting a duo-screen extender so that I could improve virtual learning. Having the extension attached to my laptop will help me to see my students faces, measure their engagement levels and support their learning. When we had to transition from in person to distance learning one of my biggest challenges was having the right technology equipment. My district has provided a new laptop, but I am still unable to see all 25 students all at once in one convenient location. I would love to see them all at once without missing a beat.
