My Sunshine Classroom

Help me give my students the best opportunities to learn by using different materials such as books and flannel/felt board stories. These materials will help my children to learn literacy, back-and-forth conversation, and taking turns.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my children is their smiles.

My students will love building, painting, and adding stickers to the wooden birdhouses.

I have requested enough birdhouses so each child can build, paint, and study how to feed birds.

The Three Little Pigs felt board will help children with language, and the Brown Bear, Brown Bear-felt board figures will be used for story development and participation by the students. The Social Emotional felt board will be used to help children with their social and emotional feelings.

I have requested a weighted lap pad for a child with special needs to help the child to sit. The pencil grip will help children to grasp the pencil for small motor skills.

I have requested books that I will read aloud to my students to help promote literacy. The book, It's Ok to be Different, will help us discuss diversity and kindness. I have also requested Zac el Zorrillo which is a book in Spanish to help newcomers in Spanish language-literacy.

The Carson Dellosa Seasonal Steam will help my students do STEM activities. The dowling magnets will be used to do picture frames to give as a present to children's parents for Mothers Day.

My students will love using the Jewelry Making Kit to make bracelets using eye and hand coordination.
