My Students

We need 2 Chromebooks in our classroom. Computers provide unlimited amounts of up to date information. We have 33 kids and only 3 computers. Computers have programs that can help you with things that you are struggling with. As you can see, 3 computers are not enough.

We live in Nampa, Idaho.

Our students love learning! Unfortunately, the majority of them do not have access to computers or Internet at home. School is the only time to participate in the technological world. In order to get our students ready for their future they need to have time to become familiar with technology, research, and collaboration. We can be more successful in our endeavors with a few more computers.

My Project

Computers with access to the Internet have more information than textbooks do. Books end at a certain point but the internet goes on forever. Computers help make research fun by letting us watch videos, talking to experts and kids in other schools learning about the same things. Surely research on a computer is more exciting than using a textbook. Do you think 3 computers are enough for 33 students? We don't. Only 9% of our class can be on the computer at once. Having only 3 computers causes fights in our classroom. We could switch off but kids get into fights when it is their turn to get off. 3 computers are not enough for 33 kids. Everyone knows that computer games are fun, but did you know they can be educational too? Does your child ever need help with something at school? Computer programs can help! Students can get help with areas they need help in without slowing down the rest of the class. Computers provide a fun way to catch up on learning.

Yes. Computers can provide unlimited information, make research fun, make students happy, and help students catch up on learning. We hope you will consider supporting our class in getting the requested 2 Chromebooks.
