Help me give my students their own copy of The Odyssey to use for instruction! Throughout the last semester, I have had to use digital copies, and even a document camera to show our one class text!

My Students
My students are a glorious melting pot of brilliance and truly lived experiences. I am constantly astounded by the different journeys that my students have gone on and been part of in their fourteen years of life. I am inspired by their constant willingness to share that journey, their minds, their thoughts, hopes, and dreams. To show that openness with a first-year teacher and while surviving a pandemic, switching between remote and hybrid, is an attribute that I hope they never lose.
My Project
These materials will allow my students to hold their own copy of The Odyssey. The anchor that holds them strong as we navigate through Odysseus's journey. Throughout this semester, I have had to use digital copies, videos, and even at times a document camera to show our one single copy of the text. Nothing beats the feeling of holding a physical copy of the text and that is what my students are currently missing! The opportunity to allow students to hold, annotate, and navigate through their own copy of the text would be a wonderful addition to our classroom!
