My Project

My students have been absolutely loving our wiggle cushion this year. The problem is, we only have one and it is in high demand. We have several students this year that just need to be able to move, wiggle, and learn.

These sensory cushions are perfect for giving them movement while they stay in their seat.

The second thing is a wonderful read aloud about the schwa. Schwa is the sound vowels make when the vowel is making it's lazy, unstressed sound. This is a huge revelation for firsties, who start to understand while all words don't follow the typical rules.

The last thing is two more sets of noise canceling headphones. Several of my students struggle to focus during quiet work time when the classroom is slightly noisy. These headphones are perfect for lowering the volume and letting them focus on their work. We have two pairs currently and about 8 kids that really enjoy using them. This would give us another 2 sets to use in our classroom and greatly benefit our classroom.
