This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Remember when physical education class was full of hard balls that left yourself or your fellow classmates injured. Please help my students stay injured free with foam balls in our program.

My students attend a public school located in a low income urban area.

These children look forward to my P.E. class and for most of them this class is their only exercise for the week. This is because I am limited to teaching each class only once a week.

My Project

The foam balls will improve the safety of my Physical Education program. The overcrowded classes can be a challenge in my gymnasium and safer equipment is very much needed. The hula-hoops that I am also requesting is very helpful with providing aerobic activity as well as space awareness in my gym.

My school district has done away with any type of financial assistance for teachers.

I teach over 600 students a week and any support would be greatly appreciated. My students deserve a safe Physical Education program and with your help we can make this possible!
