Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a low-income community located on the southeast side of Chicago. They inspire me, and others, to learn from one another in exceptional and endless ways each day.
My students need athletic supplies for engaging, challenging, and beneficial activities that will help them improve their running.
My students are not given the same resources as students who attend suburban schools, yet they are special because they strive to be the best they can, no matter the challenges, they succeed.
My Project
My students don't have the opportunity to better themselves in running because we lack school timers. Given this resource, students will be able to set goals and reach them!
Please support our co-ed cross country team with providing personal pouches for students to hold timers and health supplies (inhalers) to better themselves and their health.
There is nothing better than sharing success and happiness with athletes. As a coach, I lack the ability to personalize every student's running techniques, so with this running pouch, students will be able to individually make positive goals.
Providing these timers to student athletes is a game changer and creates endless opportunities for, goal-reaching, success.
