My Students Need a Comfy Place to Read and Relax!

My Project

My students are amazing. They are enthusiastic readers and dedicated library visitors. The one thing that is missing is a place for them to read in our library! The 25 year old wooden tables and chairs are not comfortable or exciting and are slowly falling apart.

Giving my students a comfortable place to read in the library will make the space feel like a place for them - a place to relax, read, and just take a break from the grind!

All are welcome in the library! Many students come and check out books, but most don't linger because there isn't a place to sit and feel relaxed. A comfortable seating area is just what they need!

I've also added a sensory table, Lego table, and Connect 4 game for quick brain breaks to enjoy while they visit the library. I want this library to be the PLACE TO BE!
