My Students
At our school the kindergarten students are active, inquiring for knowledge, artists, musicians and philosophers. My job is to foster their learning and teach growth minded students for all learners. Kellogg Elementary is a neighborhood school. Students develop lifelong friendships and act with loving kindness toward their world.

The Wilson Reading foundation activity set provides all instructor and student materials including magnetic strips, large sound cards, keyword puzzles and more. Furthermore, dry erase boards and marker sets are application tools for children to master skills. As a certified Wilson Reading Specialist, I will use these materials with students with dyslexia daily.
At our school, we are preparing all children to be successful leaders and learners with a solid foundation of skills and knowledge. I am committed to the kindergarten classroom.
My Project
The Wilson Reading Program works! This fundations Pre-K Activity Set breaks the program down for little minds to visually understand. I cannot wait to get started! The dry erase board set makes the written portion of the lesson plan fun for students to practice. I have also included grammar, punctuation, spelling and sight word supplemental materials to have great work stations.
Having multi-sensory system of instruction for students with dyslexia will enhance my language arts block for all students.
I am an amazing Wilson Certified Reading teacher, so my five and six year old students who have dyslexia will learn to read using these resources and my excellent teaching abilities. When children have the correct tools and teacher, their brain is able to rewire pathways to process the sound and symbol relationship. Learning to read is possible for everyone.
With these materials added to my schools curriculum, I will have an amazing language arts program. I already teach balanced literacy with leveled readers, guided reading, shared reading and interactive read alouds. Help me to make this upcoming school year fantastic!
