My Students

Over 50% of the students in our school receive free or reduced price lunch, which makes us a Title I school. We work hard to make sure that financial burdens are not passed onto our students. Students in our building range in academic ability from low-functioning to Talented/Gifted and many of our students speak more than one language.

My students require Special Education services such as modified work for them to access our curriculum and reach their full potential.

They have a range of disabilities that can impact their learning

My Project

Many of my students need additional ways to learn new math instead of only using paper, pencils, and erasers. Using a whiteboard, where they can sit together, with me, in a small group to learn and practice math skills, is a must!!! The use of a whiteboard table will be so much more useful than a whiteboard on a wall; where students must repeatedly get up out of their seats. Another thing that they desperately need are computers such as Chromebooks so that they can use technology throughout the school day. I have tons of great ideas to implement with the right resources such as a small whiteboard table, stools, and new technology.
