My students are amazing. Recently I asked them what kind of books they want to read. I was surprised to hear they want to learn more about the world and how things work. Many of the books in our library are over 20 years old. The information is old and misleading. The new nonfiction books I chose to add to our library will begin to answer their questions about the world around them. Most of all I want them to continue to ask questions and be learners for life.
