Help me give my students culturally diverse people shapes, multicultural fairy tale collections, and blank books for children to study and create their own culturally relevant fairy tale and character.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials would allow students to study many multicultural versions of the most beautiful fairy tales in the world and then incorporate their own culture into a fairy tale all their own!
They would experience the many versions of Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella.
They would then decide on a character and a story plot that incorporates their own culture. They would use the people shapes to create the character and the blank book to write their story in, once the editing process is done.
