Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Under Represented Minority (URM) low socioeconomic students middle school students are in a critical need to experience as much STEM PBL as possible this coming year to influence how they feel about themselves as STEM students.

I believe when students and parents mutually engaged with STEM activities in middle school this will increase their likelihood to pursue STEM education in high school, college, and hopefully careers.

I need support to help my students transform their STEM self efficacy through my integration of electrical project based learning lessons that promotes a inward out approach that will prepare my students to be STEM global competitors in the workforce.

My Project

These materials will make a difference by eliminating the cost needed to purchase the much needed LEDs, coins cell batteries, die cuts and die cut machine. My goal is for both the student and their family to take an intentional journey on their child's possible future in STEM careers as it applies to their interests through this hand-ons project.

Please help me to deepen the family connection with my students' STEM education.

By crafting their aspiration box students will be able to share their knowledge of the engineering design process with their parents as they research their possible STEM future.
