This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Sister's Keeper is a group of student leaders that work in the school and in the larger community to uplift, inspire and encourage excellence to change life outcomes of girls and young women of color. The MSK mission is to bring together diverse groups of youth and provide them with access to experiences that build confidence, strengthen community and sisterhood. This is done through mentoring and being student representatives in the community.

The children need shirts to promote the group and to make them easily identifiable when we are in public.

This project include t-shirts, vinyl and sticker paper. The vinyl will be used along with a Cricut to design the shirts. The sticker paper will be used to create stickers with positive messages.
