Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My early childhood students are becoming aware of their own emotions and they are learning safe ways to handle them.

We have created a little space in our classroom where students can feel safe to relax and calm down if they are feeling overwhelmed, sad or frustrated.

The lamps, dolls, and other materials will help create a space specifically designed to give my students the opportunity to regulate their emotions independently. Please help us to efficiently equip this calming space with materials such as fidgets to help them focus during instructional time as well as some pieces of furniture to make this space cozy and attractive for my students who use the space to regulate their emotions.
