This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a Pre-K/Kindergarten teacher I want my students to come to class everyday happy and enthusiastic about learning. One of my goals is to create a classroom that is welcoming and full of educational resources. My kids love coming to class everyday and are eager to learn how to read! They absolutely love their classroom but I am still working on making it amazing! As a general ed. teacher and having English language learners, it is vital for them to learn in an environment that is fostering their growing minds. I am absolutely grateful for this opportunity and even though it's hard to ask for help I am. I love teaching and my priority is this: to make every student a leader, a scholar, and the most of all teach them to love to learn. With gratitude, Ms. Rodriguez.
My Project
My classroom was very fortunate to receive Chromebooks last year. My students learned how to type, researched, and used their Chromebooks. I would like a classroom printer in order for my students to print out their writings as well as resources that they can take home. This printer will be used only in the classroom wile students print out assignments from there. I find it challenging going to the office to print resources and student's work during my recess, lunch, and after school for resources that students needs. This printer will be ready to print and available for all of my students.
