I love watching my students grow as individuals. We have a very diverse community with a high population of gifted students and ESL students. Not only do I love teaching them, but I love being able to connect with them through their learning and watch them express themselves throughout all subjects. Each child I work with is different in their own special way and I love that my class is full of laughter, kindness, and love and I am blessed be their teacher.
My Project
I am hoping to add more books to our classroom library to ensure the ability of my students to gain more interest in a variety of books. My class of 22 students spend time every day independently reading. It is important to me and my students that they have a variety of books to choose from. Filling up their book boxes is so fun for them and I believe that the more they can choose from, the more they have an interest in. Students select new books every week and pick about 10 books at a time. I want to share the love of reading and help them grow as readers.
