Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

There are so many ways hula-hoops can be used in Physical Education.

My students live in the New York City and are used to being indoors and not having many opportunities to get exercise.

They are well behaved children from low-income families. Most of my students do not have the funds to be involved in outside physical activities. This means that their only opportunity for exercise is during my Physical Education class.

My Project

The 15 Targets Hula-Hoop Hoopsoft Sets will assist me in teaching my students underhand and overhand throwing which is essential in many sports and recreational activities. The Clip Hoop Klipperz will allow me to transform hula hoops into targets, obstacle courses and goals for team sports.

Inner city children do not have the benefit that their more affluent suburban peers do.

I want my students to have every bit of the same experience in physical education than the more privileged school districts. Movement, skill development, and learning physical education concepts are extremely important and every child deserves the best overall education possible!
