Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Through this meaningful and engaging family tree project students will learn about family relationships, ancestry, and the importance of understanding one’s heritage.

The requested items will provide students with the necessary tools to create their family trees, allowing them to visually represent their family connections.

By using craft supplies and templates, students can express their creativity while connecting to their personal history. Including family photos or drawings adds a personal touch, helping students feel connected to the project in a way that is meaningful to them.

My second-grade students are eager learners with a strong curiosity about the world around them. They come from diverse backgrounds and have a deep desire to learn about where they come from. This project will not only allow them to connect with their families but will also encourage them to appreciate the diversity and shared experiences of their peers. They are particularly excited to share stories from home and contribute their unique perspectives to the class discussions.

Thank you for considering supporting this important project. Your help will make a significant difference in helping my students explore their family history and create lasting memories.
