My Own Bin!

Help me give my students their own bins to keep their work and supplies organized in my classroom. Help me teach them to be respectful of their and other people's possessions.

My Students

I teach Kindergarten through 5th-grade students who need a variety of different supports in academic, behavioral, social and student skills. My students are working to improve their abilities and skills in these different areas; this looks different for every student. We work with each student to help them develop and meet their goals.

My students are working toward making as much progress as possible.

All of my students participate in the regular classroom and get additional support to meet their needs. We practice the skills that are most important for them to learn.

My Project

It is my hope to purchase new larger bins for all of my students. With these larger clear bins, my students will be able to keep all of their materials together and accessible in my classroom. Not only will the purchase of these bins help me support my students in the academic areas I am supporting them in, but it will also help me teach them to take ownership and care of their own things and learning. When they have their own bin, where they can keep all the items they need to learn, it is empowering. I will also be doing mini-lessons about respecting other people's things as well as taking pride in our classroom and can use our new bins as practical examples.
