This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have requested a classroom make-over and a reading nook area. I want my students to feel nurtured and comfortable, like our classroom is a second home. A have a huge percentage of student in temporary housing, students with disability, and new arrival.
The new benches and ottoman will enhance our classroom dynamics and improve the mood of our most vulnerable population.
This area will serve students who will be working on their reading and financial classroom projects. The new look will allow students to work as a team and on their cooperation skills.
