Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my Language Arts lesson, I will include books "I Love Mom with the "The Very Hungry Caterpillar and I Love Dad with The Very Hungry Caterpillar." I will extend this lesson with my students by having them paint a picture on a canvas. This lesson will integrate reading and art. My students will connect the books they read to their lives.

My students will be delighted to show their creativity in painting this project.

These items I am requesting will help my students with their fine motor skills, self-esteem in expressing emotion, confidence, creativity, and imagination.

My students love to come to school, they love learning and helping each other. I've seen them show empathy toward one another. They care and respect each other. Their happiness shines through their smiles!
