My Students
My students are second grade students at a charter school in Reno Nevada. My students and their families are dedicated to getting the best education they can for each child. Unfortunately, Covid had an impact on the students being in class to learn valuable tools for writing and reading. These studnts have never had an entire school year in person. I am in need of writing tools and additional reading materials to help my stuudents to get up to level and hopefully beyond their grade level.
My Project
Due to Covid and having been online for much of Kinder and First grade my students are behind with their handwriting and reading skills. My goal is to encourage the love of reading and writing in each child no matter what their learning level.
Reading books that are at their level and the abiltiy to write and communicate clearly will help my students to succeed in my class and throughout their lives.
I am hopeful I can catch these students up by the end of this school year.
