Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kindergarteners are curious, hardworking, and thoughtful. They include a mix of English and Spanish speakers, with half our day spent learning in each language. They come from all walks of life and countries, and it is a true melting pot!
They are at an age where so much is changing, both developmentally and in the larger world, and I want to help them learn to manage that.
I would like to acquire some mindfulness tools for the classroom. They will help the kids develop techniques to cope with challenges by calming their minds, improving their attentiveness, and building their confidence so they know they can manage anything that occurs.
My Project
These Flex-Space Balance Ball Seats are inflatable ball seats that allow my students to move and balance which in turn will help in reducing restlessness and improving focus while they learn! These Flex-Space Balance Ball Seats help in reducing restlessness and improving focus overall for all of my students. That being said these options are especially important for my students with sensory issues who needs different options to get the necessary input they need to help regulate their systems. These Flex-Space Balance Ball Seats will benefit all of the students in my community. By donating to our flexible seating project for Flex-Space Balance Ball Seats, you will not only help to improve and increase my Kindergarteners attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and growth in all aspects of our classroom community.
