This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students, whose primary diagnosis is Autism, are in a self-contained classroom. This means I teach them all subjects to include social skills and life skills. While we are provided with a curriculum, we have some eager learners and sometimes need additional learning materials to help keep them engaged.
I plan to use the gift cards from Teacher Pay Teacher web site to find lesson plans that will help my students continue to grow in all areas of their life, but more specifically in life skills and social skills.
