I am an art teacher, and I teach pre-kindergarten through first grade at P.S. 326 in Brooklyn. Over 70 percent of the children receive free or reduced-price lunch. There is also a high population of students in the English as a Second Language program. P.S. 326 is a small school which includes pre-k through first grade. Since it is a smaller school, the budget is also smaller than the budgets for other schools. In this small early-childhood center, the funding for the art program is very limited. Yet fine art is very important for early childhood development. This year I would like to introduce the students to sculpture not only to enhance their creative development but also to help their fine motor skills. Your generous donation will allow us to explore sculpture in a new and exciting way. Childcraft has a wonderful early-childhood fun dough kit containing various colored doughs and modeling tools. Thank you so much for your generosity. It means so much and is greatly appreciated.
