This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m a first-year teacher excited to be teaching second grade!

My students are bright, curious, and full of potential.

I want to give them every opportunity to succeed and feel proud of their progress.

My goal is to create a loving, safe, and supportive classroom environment where all my students feel welcomed and ready to learn. Having access to the right materials can make a huge difference in a child’s ability to focus, participate, and grow academically. These pencil boxes, books, and other classroom materials will help ensure that every student has what they need, from supplies to hands-on tools that make learning fun and engaging.

As a new teacher, I’m aiming to build a strong foundation for both my students and my classroom. My students deserve to feel prepared and included, and having enough materials for everyone will help create that sense of belonging. With your kind support, I can have the opportunity to give my students the materials and tools they need to have a successful and joyful year in second grade.
