Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items that I have included will make my first year classroom feel like a second home for many students. But along with that, it may feel like they’re only home. With the carpet that I have listed it will allow all my students to be comfortable on the floor, it will hold a lot of memories of morning share and will allow us to have many read aloud out of our everyday seats. Those are just a couple ways my class will hopefully use this carpet.

The bean bag I have listed will be used in my classroom library to make students feel comfortable while reading.

This bean bag will allow students to enter the library to read the book their heart desires on a comfortable chair and expand their knowledge about books.

The clear pockets will allow me to display my students work inside and outside my classroom so that way students can take pride in their work. As well as classes and staff walking by our classroom to see how much we are learning in the classroom.

This will be my first year of teaching so I’m very excited to start building my classroom and with your help I will be able to complete my classroom where students can feel loved, comfortable and safe.
