Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have come so far this year and there is no better way to celebrate their very first year in school than with a graduation ceremony that they will remember forever.

I want to be able to give my students a memorable graduation and my hope is that they will leave Kindergarten understanding just how special they are and how proud I am of them all!

All of the items I am requesting will be used for our celebration on the last day of school to celebrate how much they have learned this year!

Your donation will assist in the purchase of graduation caps (a great way to "cap off" a great year) and balloons for the ceremony. During the graduation/ceremony, students will put on a talent show in which they will showcase the reading, writing, and social-emotional skills that they have learned this year!

This year, we would also like to add a new part to the graduation and we need your help! We would like to increase parent engagement and this project would also help us provide supplies needed for activities for our students and their families following graduation. Some items include markers, stuffed puppies (that they will get to make name tags for and demonstrate their writing skills) magnets (that will be used to demonstrate their fine motor and print concept skills) and a piñata to celebrate all of their achievements this year!
