My First Binder

My Students

The school I am teaching in is in an urban area. The students in my school are extremely motivated to learn and have made tremendous progress this school year. They love to read and write and have started wanting to type and publish their stories! They look forward to hands-on activities during math and science.

My students deserve the best education possible and appreciate the support they receive from family, friends, and the community.

These students are going to make the future bright and amazing!

My Project

Children need to be taught how to be organized. Many times students go to the next grade and are expected how to organize their work in a binder or folders.

This school year I want to help my first graders learn how to organize their work in a binder with color coded sections.

The cover of the binder will be used as a dry erase board where students can slide their math templates or reading graphic organizers in to complete their examples. Having the proper tools at a young age sets students up for years of success!
