My students need wobble chairs to meet their sensory and fidgety needs! These chairs will keep them moving, but in the same spot so I can help them learn to communicate effectively.

My Students

I am a speech-language pathologist working with students who have articulation impairments, expressive/receptive disorders, autism, fluency disorders and social communication deficits. This is my first year, so I'm looking for materials to help my students succeed while having fun!

Most of my students are from low socioeconomic status homes and I want to do everything in my power to help them succeed academically and communicate effectively to build connections with peers and adults!

My students will be challenged by the puzzles and games, but will be extremely motivated as well!

My Project

As a first-year speech-language pathologist, the first thing I've noticed is how hard it is to keep my kiddos focused on speech! I need them to sit in the same spot, but not necessarily still! I want to meet their sensory needs because I know how hard it can be as a little kid to focus.

My energetic first graders will thrive academically with these wobble chairs!

I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me make these kids lives easier by giving them flexible seating. A long 8 hour day can be hard on adults, but imagine being a child with attention issues. They need the room and the flexibility to not be forced to sit still all day long!
