Help me give my students a writing utensil when they walk in my classroom so they don't miss out on any learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Students are eager to learn and are willing to put in the time to learn new skills in my math classroom. I want them to have the same opportunities as peers across our city. Many of my students are English Language Learners so math is their common language. I want them to continue to succeed in my math classroom.
My students are willing to come in early and stay late to finish their work so I want to do all I can to support them.
My Project
As a math teacher I want to encourage students to use pencils and erasers so that they can show their work and make corrections when necessary. I have run out of my supply of pencils and my students’ families do no have the resources to provide supplies for their students.
As a math teacher I want students to understand that making mistakes is not a bad thing, but an opportunity to learn. I want students to have the materials they need to be successful. Having students having pencils, sharpeners and erasers will allow students to have the materials to show their work in an organized manner.
