I work with EL students and I would like to introduce a unit on the environment and how they can be an active protector of it for my newcomers and level 1 language learners. I want to integrate this unit with our 5 Regions/state research unit.
These books will be used as read-aloud to initiate discussions and inspire actions.
I want to give students access to information on their new environment with these easy to read books that have great photos. We will also be using the materials as a research source in our writing unit.
