My Project

To understand the emotions of a child is important for the development and overall wellbeing of a student.

This notion of only adults feel bad or stressed is a thing of the past. We must all come to grips with the fact that children also struggle with everyday life. Here at C. Elementary, our Administration has found a way for us to help our students recognize and attempt to deal with the negative emotions and celebrate the positive! However, our new Instructional Resource Room needs and uplift for our students. When they walk into the classroom they should feel a sense of safety and be able to express emotions calmly and in appropriate ways. Our Instructional Room should foster a perfect balance of instruction and comfort. We will use books about emotions and illustrate all emotions visually. We will give incentives for success stories. This will give our students a sense of bounce back! Please help me to help our students understand and recognize their emotions and teach them simple strategies in order to be able to control their emotions daily. We want to lay out the groundwork, in the beginning, in order for students to recognize and manage their emotions as they get older. Thank you so much to all that donates! We are so grateful in advance for this opportunity for C. Elementary to recognize the need and put our plan in action! We will not fail!
