The jellyfish aquarium was assembled, and all of the other sensory fidgets were placed around the room in small baskets.\r\nWhen the students arrived their excitement to their class from the looks on their faces and the squeals in their voices.\r\nMy students love sitting on the ball chairs while completing math problems, and reading books online. My students immediately gravitated toward the materials, and we've already integrated them into our daily lessons. One of the most memorable moments was watching a group of students collaborate on a hands-on activity using the new tools they were so focused, engaged, and proud of the work they were creating. These resources have opened the door for deeper exploration, creativity, and independent learning in a way that wasn't possible before.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students' excitement was priceless. They were eager to unpack every item, ask questions, and imagine all the projects they could do. Their faces lit up with joy, curiosity, and genuine appreciation. Several students shared that it \"felt like Christmas morning in the classroom,\" and many immediately wanted to start using the materials before we even finished organizing them.","fullyFundedDate":1755521995877,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-blessings/9466156/","projectTitle":"Classroom Blessings","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Loving","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8541067_orig.jpg?crop=625,625,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1660167934149","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8541067"},{"teacherId":8552741,"projectId":9516278,"letterContent":"My students and I have been putting the new hula hoops, small soccer goals, pennies, and yarn balls to great use during our physical education classes. The hula hoops have become a staple for warm-up circuits and creative movement activities that build coordination and teamwork. The small soccer goals have allowed us to organize fun mini games that teach passing, spacing, and sportsmanship. The pennies have made team formation smoother, and the yarn balls have been perfect for younger students to safely practice throwing, catching, and cooperative play. Together, these new resources have made our PE lessons more organized, engaging, and inclusive for all students.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new equipment, their excitement filled the gym. They gasped and cheered as they noticed the bright hula hoops and soccer goals set up, and several immediately offered to help get everything ready. It was amazing to see how proud they felt knowing that the new equipment was donated by people who care about their learning. Students who are usually shy or hesitant to participate were some of the first to jump in and get involved, showing how much the new materials boosted their enthusiasm and confidence.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include using these materials in a team-building unit that focuses on communication, problem-solving, and inclusion. Students will rotate through cooperative games using the hoops and yarn balls to build collaboration skills, then move into a mini soccer tournament using the new goals and pennies. These activities are helping them develop leadership and empathy while strengthening their physical abilities. Thanks to these new resources, my students are more active, motivated, and excited about learning every day. None of this would have been possible without your generosity, and I want to sincerely thank each of you for believing in my students, supporting their growth, and helping make our gym a place filled with joy, teamwork, and endless smiles.","fullyFundedDate":1754773375861,"projectUrl":"project/every-kid-deserves-a-shot-at-play/9516278/","projectTitle":"Every Kid Deserves a Shot at Play!","teacherDisplayName":"Coach R","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8552741_orig.png?crop=432,432,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753882735030","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8552741"},{"teacherId":10011414,"projectId":9309433,"letterContent":"On behalf of my 2nd grade students and myself, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous support of our project, Learning Through Play and Problem Solving. Your kindness has transformed our classroom into a space where learning is active, engaging, and full of joy.\r\n\r\nWhen your donation arrived, the excitement on my students' faces was priceless. They could hardly wait to open the packages and explore the new materials. Each item you funded has already become an important part of our daily routine. The racquetballs, for example, are being used in Bal-A-Vis-X exercises, which challenge students to coordinate movement, rhythm, and focus. These brain-activating activities not only help them get their energy out in a purposeful way but also prepare them to concentrate better during academic lessons. The students look forward to these exercises, and I can see the improvement in their self-regulation and confidence.\r\n\r\nThe tangrams, upscale pattern blocks, and Q-bitz games have added an exciting problem-solving dimension to our classroom. Students love working together to create patterns, solve puzzles, and think critically in ways that feel like play. I've noticed that students who were once hesitant to take risks in math are now eager to try new strategies because they feel safe experimenting through games. The hands-on exploration has sparked curiosity and collaboration, and the room buzzes with positive energy during these activities.\r\n\r\nTENZI and BUILDZI have become classroom favorites as well. These games bring a fast-paced, playful energy that encourages teamwork, quick thinking, and perseverance. It is heartwarming to watch my students cheer each other on and celebrate small successes. These moments remind me of how powerful play can be as a teaching tool, and how much your support is helping my students build both academic and social skills.\r\n\r\nEven the practical items you provided have had a significant impact. With clipboards, my students are no longer confined to their desks. They enjoy the freedom of moving around the classroom, working in pairs, or finding a quiet spot on the carpet to do their writing and problem-solving. This flexibility has encouraged more ownership of their learning. The dry erase markers have also given us countless opportunities to practice skills in a way that feels interactive and low-stakes. Students are far more willing to try, make mistakes, and try again when they know they can simply erase and adjust.\r\nYour generosity has created more than just moments of fun—it has created an environment where learning feels exciting and accessible for every child. My students are not only learning academic concepts, but they are also developing perseverance, creativity, problem-solving strategies, and collaboration skills that will serve them for years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and in the power of playful learning. Your support has made a lasting difference in their education, and we are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1746808367063,"projectUrl":"project/minds-in-motion-learning-through-play-a/9309433/","projectTitle":"Minds in Motion: Learning Through Play and Problem Solving","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Meyer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10011414"},{"teacherId":6975701,"projectId":8959252,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for the gift of mobility.
