Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I taught in NYC for 21 years, and just recently moved to Florida last year. Therefore, this project is about creating my dream new classroom. As FL teacher, I earn much less, and it's very expensive to equip the classroom with all the things that it needs to be an inviting, cozy, and beautiful space for our students.

My middle school students love to work in small group, and the colorful stools would create a prefect area for them to do that.

I didn't bring anything from my previous classroom in New York, so I am in need of everything that I could use to help me organize my school supplies and materials.

I love my students. I'm the only ELA teacher in my middle school, since it's a dual language choice program meant to advance the skills of those who qualify for it.

All my students are hard working and motivated to achieve academically. By having an inviting classroom, I would provide them with the environment to flourish.
