Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Each day, during our morning meeting, my scholars with emotional disabilities discuss the weather outside and inside. We talk about climate and the environment each day and how temperature regulates or dysregulates our mood. With the Dyson Purifier Heat Cool system, our scholars can not only feel well enough to think, they can use an accurate measuring of the inside temperature and calculate the difference from outside. The Dyson will not only serve to help regulate the temperature in the room to allow them to function better, but it will aide us in our daily morning meeting routine as we discuss climate and environment in our daily lives.
