Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By adding a beautiful rug and cozy floor pillows to our classroom, our space will transform our learning environment into a comfortable, inviting space! A more welcoming classroom will foster creativity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging among my students, and mine totally deserve this!

I want my kiddos to have flexible seating where they can get productive work done, chat with peers, and have a different place to sit other than hard stiff desks all day long!

Many of my students are at-risk, and face many complex challenges outside of school. I want those worries to wash away when they come into my room; even if it is temporary. They work so hard and deserve to have a comfy space to feel special, supported, and included!

The few supply items on my list will be used for projects, presentations, and in-class activities, but all my heart and excitement is going into the lovely rug and floor cushions! Thank you so much for anything you are willing to share and donate!
